
Hi, I’m Christina! My “Cooking Around the World Experiment” began in July of 2023 when I got bored with my weekly dinner routine. I figured this project would be short-lived, but instead, it’s become the highlight of my week (and Anthony’s, too!). I started my blog after I had already worked my way through 30 countries- I might get around to re-doing those earlier dinners at some point so that I can post them, but they also might just be lost to history. It’s been such a joy getting to travel without ever leaving my kitchen, and I can’t wait to keep going 💛
Disclaimer: Aside from posts titled “Interlude,” none of the recipes on my blog are my own! I always cite my recipe sources (and I also try to email the recipe authors afterwards and let them know that a random girl from the US tried their recipes!) and I do my best to find recipes specifically written by cooks from the country I’ve picked for the week. This project wouldn’t be possible without all of the hardworking chefs from around the world who have made their recipes accessible, and I’m so grateful for each and every one of them.
